Bridal Party
James and Charlotte are happy and thankful to have their friends and family as a part of the wedding.

Officiates: Chris and Jeri Woods
Yes, those are James’ parents! Chris and Jeri have been pastors for over 20 years and it is a very special touch to have them presiding over the wedding.
Bridesmaids
Christina Dunstan
Maid of honor-Christina and Charlotte have known each other since second grade (that’s almost 20 years!!). They met in Girl Scouts and have been friends ever since. Christina has stuck by Charlotte through thick and thin, good and bad. When Charlotte moved down to Spanaway, it was like losing a sister. On June 21, 2008 Christina Markley became Christina Dunstan when she married her other best friend.
Makayla Woods
Charlotte’s soon-to-be step daughter, Makayla, will be a beautiful bridesmaid and is excited to not be the flower girl. She has helped Charlotte learn her new role in the family and has made the transition easy, from single to step mom. Even though the two have only know each other for a few years, the bond and friendship has grown and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without Makayla at Charlotte’s side.
Katie Haag
Katie is Charlotte’s cousin and they have grown up together since Charlotte’s family moved back to Washington in 1985. It has always been a drive for them to see each other, but at least they are in the same state. Even though they usually see each other at the regular holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas) they are working on getting together more and more. Especially for Greek food!
Carlene Funseth
Carlene and Charlotte met back in junior high and have known each other for about 13 years. They always say opposites attract and that is the truth with these two. Carlene is outgoing, brutally honest and opinionated which is balanced out with her huge caring heart and genuine thoughtfulness of other people. She has taught Charlotte to speak up and not be afraid to say what you mean.
Groomsmen
Cris Cron aka The Resident Canadian
Cris is James' soon-to-be-brother-in-law. James and Cris met shortly after James and Charlotte became serious. Mr. Cron has insane auto-body skillz. Shortly after getting a job at the local auto-body shop, he established himself as the go-to-guy...even more go-tooery than the old guys who have worked there forever. Like I said, mad skillz. Cris lives in Bellingham, thus the Canadian wisecrack.
Bill Fritz aka Skillz-Master-Flex aka Dirty Baller
Best man-Bill has so many skillz that he had to have a beautiful baby daughter just so he had an excuse to tell people “No! I can’t help you this weekend” 8^) Got a broken vehicle? Bill used to be an ASE certified mechanic. Got a broken computer? Bill can solder you a new circuit-board to replace your burnt out parts. Need a database application? Bill is the SQL administrator for the University of Washington Tacoma. Got a sick tummy? Bill was an emergency room assistant and he can even pronounce those multi-syllable drugs. Oh, and he was a spelling bee champion…and something about a soulless California raisin.

Paris Edwards aka Big Pappa “P” aka Horde Master
James’ chosen brother. Paris’ and James’ first meeting was across the line of scrimmage from one another as they competed for dominance in high school football. Since Paris was bigger and stronger than James, James had to chop block him. James always felt that the chopblock was like throwing sand in your opponents face…hey, if ya can’t beat ‘em, cheat ‘em 8^) Paris and James were both out of their elements as James was the white guy on the black football team, and Paris was the black guy on the white football team.

Corey Teasdell
James met Corey in the summer before 3rd grade. Before injuries struck him, he was invited to compete in international karate tournaments. He'd never let you know, but he's a blackbelt with mad tush-kickin' skillz.
How to describe Corey...there aren't really words that will do the trick. Suffice it to say that if you know Corey, your life is a better than if you didn't know him.
Growing up, James and Corey spent many a night playing Super Mario Bros, Metroid, Contra, Zelda, and Mike Tyson's Punch Out. They invented a game that involved riding bikes while using those plastic ball launchers...one too many accidents prompted them to try other sports. No one can forget the "ninja star to the face" incident with Uriah, nor the time Shavis' sister shot him in the neck with a BB gun. Corey is owner of one of the best face-plants ever to happen on the back-yard half pipe. They made more than a few molotov cocktails. Then there was the time Corey was engulfed in a column of flame because lighter fluid and gasoline sounded better than elbow grease when it came to removing weeds from the back yard. Of course, no dissertation on Corey would be complete without mention of the time James and Corey had their butts whooped by 8 or 9 white "gangsters". The friends got separated and James chose his path...poorly. He got trapped and beat down, while Corey wisely stayed in the open and was able to (mostly) defend himself. Luckily for us 4 or 5 of the biggest Samoan's we had ever seen came sprinting to our rescue. The "gangsters" scattered like cockroaches at the flick of a light switch.

Josh Wagoner aka Ballerific aka “Mr. Success”
James and Josh met in the 3rd grade at Peoples Christian School. They stayed best of friends growing up even though they couldn’t manage to attend the same schools. For about 6 months Josh and James were brothers-in-law. How crazy is that?
A favorite pastime involved the cheesiest ninja or barbarian movies they could find (the best involved ninja barbarians!). Car stereos occupied much of their time as they became of driving age. One time, they spent all day cramming as many speakers as they could into Josh’s Mazda B2200 pickup truck. They learned an important lesson called “Too many speakers x not enough amplification = less than impressive sound”. Josh has always had a penchant for the nicer things in life. Shortly after turning 18 he made his first humidor for his cigars.

David Woods aka DJ (to the oldest school of homies)
James’ blood brother. Even if David wasn’t James’ brother, they’d still be best friends. If David and James didn’t have responsibilities, they could spend days at a time on role playing games. Playing them, talking about them, creating them, etc… David TOTALLY bailed out James by watching Makayla and Joshua for a year.
